Mariangela Smania, born in Rio de Janeiro, is a painter and Art teacher. Colors, forms and emotions, charged with loads of energy, constitute in a vibrant way her “Abstract Brazil”. It’s a mysterious world but not inscrutable, made of tree barks on acrylic which gives life to life itself. |
“For me painting is a good feeling, something that comes from inside. It is a moment, a space, a color, a flavor, my memories. It is the remembrance of a joyful time that never ended. I lived many years by the sea and in touch with tropical nature. Close to the water that brings life and reflects a light so pure, so violent, so mysterious ... so Latin” |
